ISPP Call for Papers

The International Society of Political Psychology (ISPP) announces a call for papers for its 2006 conference on the theme of "The Political Psychology of Liberation, the Political Psychology of Oppression". All proposals addressing any aspect of these issues, broadly defined, are welcomed. Deadline for submissions is January 15, 2006. The conference will be held from July 12-15, 2006 in Barcelona, Spain.

For a submission form, instructions for proposals, and more information about Barcelona and the conference, see http://ispp.org/meet.html.

ISPP is an interdisciplinary organization representing all fields of inquiry concerned with exploring the relationships between political and psychological processes. Members include psychologists, political scientists, psychiatrists, historians, sociologists, economists, anthropologists, as well as journalists, government officials and others. The Society is international, with members from all regions of the world: the Americas, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. ISPP has established a tradition of scholarly excellence at its annual meetings. Each meeting since the first one in New York City in September of 1978 has brought together hundreds of conferees in a four-day program of intensive workshops, panel discussions, invited addresses, and special events. Society meetings generally offer over 70 panels, round tables, and workshops, with over 200 presentations.
