2003 -- School Mental Health, "Let's Talk About
It!" With studies showing that one in five school-aged children
suffers from emotional or behavioral problems, the Center for
School Mental Health Assistance Conference brought together leaders
in the field at their annual conference in Portland, Oregon to
dialogue on best practices in school-based mental health. The
Institute's Barbara Silverman was there to present her work with
young people at Brooklyn's Erasmus High School and their pioneering
